The Audi A4 has been a highly sought after model for Audi. Beginning production in 1994, the model was originally produced as a compact executive car using front-wheel drive technology, although, some variations were equipped with Audi Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Upon its release, the Audi A4 was available in both Saloon and Avant (Estate) body types.

The Audi A4 B5 was the first vehicle to debut the new Tiptronic automatic transmission, which is still widely used to this day!

In 1997, Audi was the first manufacturer to mass-produce a hybrid vehicle with the Audi Duo, which was based on the Audi A4 Avant.

Since sales began, the Audi A4 has proven that it’s one of the most popular models within the Audi range, being their top-selling model in 2013.
